Loved By Kids, the New Menu Kicks Off 2010 with a Sugary Surprise

FONTANA, WI – January 5, 2010 – Satisfying your sweet tooth starts first thing in the morning at The Abbey Resort’s Fontana Grill restaurant.  The Abbey Resort, located on the shores of Lake Geneva, WI, creates a fun and affordable family-friendly breakfast menu including candy pancakes, a sure hit for children and adults alike. 

The kids will happily eat their meal and won’t need to ask for dessert when they order the new candy pancakes, which are just as they sound: pancakes infused with your favorite candy for $8.90.  Fontana Grill will be serving taste-bud teasers as the coffee is poured to cue customers in on what the daily special is.  Depending on the day, diners will find a peppermint patty, a mini Snickers® or a different treat on their plates before ordering their meals.  Each day offers a different candy treat coinciding with the day’s candy pancakes.

Not a pancake lover?  No problem.  Fontana Grill is well prepared for those who would rather stick with the traditional breakfast foods, including Cinnamon Vanilla Oatmeal for $5.95, Greek Town Omelet for $8.95, Eggs Benedict for $8.95 and plenty of other options.  Also, guests can try one unique option – “The Abbey A-Frame,” a tower of pancakes with smoked bacon, Wisconsin cheddar and fried egg topped off with whipped cream for $9.95.  Whatever the customer’s palate, Fontana Grill has something to excite everyone’s taste buds.
