How do I make a spa appointment?
We recommend that you make your spa reservations well in advance of your arrival. As AVANI has a very high business level, it may be difficult to book services if you wait until you arrive.
For guests not registered at The Abbey Resort, a vaild credit card will be required to reserve your spa appointment. To schedule your appointment, please call 1-800-709-1323. The spa reservations office is open Sunday-Saturday 6:00am - 11:00pm. All spa services are subject to availability. Prices and service selections are subject to change without notice.
How early should I arrive for my spa services?
Please check in at the reception desk 30 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. Guests arriving late for their service wil receive only their time remaining. This will insure that we stay on schedule and do not inconvenience other guests.
All spa guests have use of our fitness center and all spa amenities. This includes our steam rooms, sauna, whirlpools, atrium pool, locker rooms, use of an AVANI robe and spa sandals, relaxation areas as well as AVANI spa cuisine that is available for pool side delivery.
What time does the spa open?
Spa services are available seven days a week, 365 days a year. AVANI Spa hours of operation are: Monday - Saturday 6am - 8pm and Sunday 7am - 6pm. *Hours subject to change.
What should I bring to the spa?
We will never compromise your modesty. You will be given a robe and sandals to change into before your treatment. What you wear under your robe is up to you, our therapists will only expose the portion of your body that is being worked on. We do recommend that you bring your swimsuit and workout gear so that you may fully enjoy our facility.
Do I need to tip the spa therapists?
Gratuity is at your descretion at AVANI. It is not included in your cost of service. To show your appreciation to your therapist, an average gratuity for spa services is 15-20%. Tip envelopes are available at the spa front desk. We are also able to leave gratuity as a room or credit card charge.
What do I do if I need to cancel my appointment?
Because your spa appointments are reserved specifically for you, we ask that you notify us to avoid the 50% cancellation fee for the service. The Spa recommends a minimum of 72 hours in advance should you need to cancel or reschedule. All no-show appointments will be charged at full value.
May I request a male or female therapist?
When you book your services, let us know if you have a preference for a male or female therapist. We will do our best to accommodate that request. Our goal is to provide you excellent services, exceeding your expectations at your comfort level.
May I bring a child to the spa?
Guests must be 16 years of age or older. No childcare is available at the Spa.
