We just got off a "Lake Geneva Weekend" with our wood and classic boat chapter from this area, the Blackhawk Chapter. They put on the wood boat show at The Abbey Resort. We had to stop in at the Abbey and pick up some things down at the gift shop. As usual the staff of the Abbey HELPED OUT AND TREAT YOU FIRST CLASS!!! ... Thank you to the "Gift Shop" ladies for helping us with the books and gifts we needed to bring home. If you have never seen or read it, buy "Grand and Glorius" by Larry Larkin, local Geneva Lake resident... It is AWESOME....

I traveled from the Chicago area with 3 girlfriends for a quick overnight spa getaway. The treatments were well priced, and the therapists well trained and friendly. Our breakfast in the Fontana Grill was delicious. Well prepared and the service friendly. We will definitely be back for another ladies weekend!

I have been coming to The Abbey since ther 4th year you were open. I love it so much that it has been part of my life. I have been here with my mother, husband, friends and now son , daughter-in-law and 4 grandchildren. I am truly a lover of The Abbey!

One thing that cannot be said about this resort is "There's nothing to do" Everywhere you look there is something. There is an arcade room with a pool table, ping pong table, and lots of arcade games. Right outside the arcade is a video room with a giant screen and cushy couches. The smell of fresh popcorn draws you in. They have board games set up at different tables along a wall of windows. You forget how fun they were to play when you were younger! It was a great trip, you don’t have to leave.

We were at a wedding at the Abbey. The wedding was beautiful with the newly fallen snow as the backdrop. The food was excellent and everyone had a wonderful time. The reservation desk staff was very friendly.

I had a WONDERFUL time on a surprise romantic get away with my now fiance! He made all of the arrangements for a special weekend getaway for me and some girl friends and after a day of pampering at the spa, I was surprised with a room upgrade and the resort staff helped him pull off a surprise proposal. THANK YOU SO MUCH to the entire resort for helping create a memory that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
