The all new AVANI Spa , slated to open in mid—June, 2008,
is the latest enhancement to The Abbey Resort, an iconic destination located on the western shore of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
The newly renamed Avani Spa, is defined in Sanskrit as “from the earth,” and evokes feelings of tranquility, peace, relaxation, and rebirth. Utilizing inspiration from nature Avanis’s materials and décor will feature natural elements, including cork flooring, and be accented by earth tones shades of browns, blues, greens, and creams. Avani will utilize luxurious water-based treatments featuring the Phytomer/ocean based line, and other products of the earth and sea.
Designed by the Getty’s Group in Chicago, the $1.5 million spa renovation fuses the reputation of the Abbey and its Fontana Spa (originally launched in 1988) and the $40 million resort renovation completed in 2005. The all-new spa will feature innovative spa treatments, intricate attention to detail and the modern luxuries of a first class spa that today’s sophisticated spa consumers have come to expect.
“The Abbey Resort and Spa has been recognized for over 40 years as a premier destination resort, and we wanted to provide our guests with the latest in Spa luxury, renovated spaces, and unique service offerings and product lines,” states Lisa Delton, director of the AVANI Spa.
Boasting 35,000 sq. ft. of pure tranquility, the AVANI Spa houses twelve massage rooms, three wet treatment rooms, including hydro-therapy tubs, four skin care rooms, two multi-purpose relaxation/ lounge areas, complete with fireplaces, and a full menu of hair and nail services, offering an oasis of relaxation to guests.
Spa-goers can indulge in AVANI’s sophisticated VIP Suite sanctuary, which will offer a private whirlpool, plasma TV, an outdoor firepit and private patio, as well as multiple spa services within the suite itself. Accommodating two to ten guests, the suite is designed to provide an all-inclusive experience for couples, small groups, and ever-popular girlfriend’s spa getaways.
Guests will also enjoy premium services and packages such as the AVANI Soothing Package, Deep Tissue or Hot Stone Massages, Aromatherapy Retreat Wraps, Manicures and Pedicures and signature spa services including coffee-based and cavier treatments. AVANI also features skin and body care products from highly respected lines including: Phytomer, Kerstin Florian, BodyCoffee and SpaRitual, a vegan nail line.
